Echo Park Rising!

This Weekend!

Echo Park Rising is coming! This Weekend: August 18th-21st!

For the first time ever this year we will have a Family Friendly Kid’s Stage on Saturday the 20th at El Centro Del Pueblo – right behind Masa – featuring:

Bob Baker Marionette Theater at 11:30am
The Hollow Trees (Folk Music for Families) at 12:30pm
Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band (Latin Grammy winning Childrens’ Artists) at 1:30pm

And at Noon the LA RIVER ROVER Friends of the Los Angeles River “a 38’ Mobile Visitor and Education Center that travels the streets and freeways bringing the River to the people. The River Rover is designed to educate the curious of all ages – to take visitors through a tour of the River’s past, present and future. Guests learn about the LA River watershed at the interactive watershed table, touch beaver and coyote pelts, listen to the song of the Least Bell’s Vireo, and design the River as they want to see in the future.”

We are so excited to be transporting the puppets from the Masa living room to the “big” stage so more kids (of all ages) can enjoy the show!! Yes - we’ll be making the popcorn!
